Ooops. Despite the card I just wrote, which proclaimed a ‘Happy Birthday’ to my Hubby, it is in fact our Anniversary today!!! It didn’t say it on the front of the card in my defense. And *maybe* the price tag was stuck over the tiny writing on the back where it said ‘inside reads’ happy birthday.’ Ah well. At least I didn’t leave the price tag on (pet peeve #593 of mine) and I did an artistic scribble to get away with it!
This is where we got hitched SIXTEEN years ago. I haven’t been home in a few weeks to see it any medal has arrived yet…..

I could say this rare shot of us together is our both looking in the distance and imagining many happy years together, but that would be bullshit right there. We were sat in a Thai restaurant wondering if the 6 year old had any clue what he was doing with my camera. Not bad all in all.

Congratulations you too – we’re coming up to 15 this year and you’re one of the few couples I know who have lasted this long.
I think sixteen is peridot (a rather wishy-washy green stone) – I’d go for pistachio ice-cream and a lie-in if I were you! We celebrated twenty five this year – I suggested to Handsome that I could try for a younger man for the next twenty-five, but he wasn’t amused.
It was sixteen for us in June this year as well. Where do the years go?
